Fast food is cookedsystematically with standardised ingredients for consistent taste.It is avaible for immediate consumption.Burgers, hatdogs and pizzas are often called fast food. They are called fast foodbecause they can be prepared very quickly. They are often sold in large food storesn which are clean and brightly lit.InMalaysia,fast food have become a part of the busy Malaysian lifestyle.Nowadays,most working Malaysians,have less time to prepare home cooked food.Tey have to resort to fast food..

Although Malaysians are getting used to fast food, they are also concerned about its nutritional values.Nutritionists point out that fast food is often high in calories, sodium. fat and cholestrol. Eating food with too much calories leads to poor health.Fast food with high fat content contributes to high blood cholestrol levels. This means that eating too much fast food is not healthy. Malaysians, therefore, have to take a balanced diet to ensure a healthy lifestyle.
